John is an Austin, Texas native and Founder of The Schneider Group (TSG). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University and has built his career managing commercial construction projects throughout Central Texas.
John began his career with Harvey-Cleary Builders as an intern before joining the firm full-time after graduation. During his six years at Harvey-Cleary, John contributed to the successful delivery of notable commercial developments, including the ground-up construction of the Austin Energy Headquarters, a 275,000-square-foot office and precast parking structure; the ground-up construction of the 13-story SXSW Headquarters building; and the 415 Colorado high-rise, a 47-story tower in downtown Austin.
In 2025, John founded TSG with a vision of providing clients a more personal, relationship-driven construction experience. Built on an ownership mindset, TSG was established to steward every client's investment with the same care and discipline as if it were the firm's own while bringing clarity and confidence to an often complex construction process.
